I read a great quote by Albert Schweitzer in a book I’m reading today that really resonated with me. Here it is: "Every start upon an untrodden path is a venture, which, only in unusual circumstances, looks sensible and likely to be successful." Do you know what that means? That means that any new venture you set out on whether its a new job, a new business, or a new marketing plan will never really look like it can work! Isn’t that unbelievable?
How will you respond to that? Will you, like most people, steer away from it because it doesn’t look like it could work? Or will you move forward with the idea because you know – you just know – that it will happen? I hope it’s the latter. I hope your dream is big enough to overcome the negative thoughts and people that will try to derail you.
No one will believe in your dream more than you. So have big dreams and have a plan to achieve them. Get your self talk right and take stock of your relationships and make sure they are positive. And when you get to work on those things, any plan you have will start in the right direction.
I know you can do it and I definitely believe in you!
